An RYT - 200 Hour Vinyasa and 100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher, Khushboo has a passion for being a guide and providing space for anyone who is interested in connecting with themselves on a deeper level through the practice of breathwork, asana and meditation. She truly believes that through the practice of yoga, not only do we enhance our physical health, we also bring more kindness, self-love and appreciation towards ourselves, which causes a ripple effect towards the people around us.
She was introduced to yoga by her mom during her teen years, which included the constant explanation of how Surya Namaskar and basic breathing techniques really works wonders for the body. She was at a place in her life where she couldn’t care less about “daily stretching” and didn’t understand the concept of taking time to sit and breathe when we were constantly breathing anyway. Fast forward to 15 years later, plunging into this spiritual journey of the self, and now understanding every word her mom said at that time, she feels honored to reach a place where she gets to share her knowledge and experience of this beautiful ancient practice.
Originally from Jakarta, she chose to move to Bali in 2018 to pursue her photography career, but little did she know that the Island of the Gods would attract her into doing a yoga teacher training. With a meditation practice already in her daily routine, deciding on pursuing yoga was an easy task. Amidst her training, she began to fully immerse herself into the practice and realized how yoga gave her the ability to really connect and appreciate her entire self like nothing ever before. The decision to get a certification was not merely to keep what she learned to herself, but she desired to provide a safe space and to share her knowledge of the practice to others as well, hoping for others to perhaps one day have the beautiful “aha” moments that she did - and still continues to do so - in her journey.
Along with Vinyasa and Yin, she is qualified for Prenatal/Postnatal and meditation classes as well. She is constantly pursuing further yoga-related trainings to be able to share a deeper knowledge of yoga, and is sure to keep her passion of learning yoga as a continual journey of life.
